For adults, dental care is offered privately.
Our patients are given the opportunity to join the 51 Practice Plan to help spread the cost of dental care. Details of the dental plan and private fees are available from the reception staff.
We accept payment by cash, cheque, or card, and will require that you pay for your treatment at each visit.
We will arrange your appointments with you at the end of your first visit, aiming to book all the necessary appointments to complete the work that you are happy for us to carry out for you.
At the end of treatment, we will discuss the appropriate timeframe for when we will need to see you again.
Dental care and treatment at the practice
On your first visit we will ask you to complete a confidential medical history questionnaire, please bring details of any medication with you to help complete this accurately.
At this visit, we will carry out a thorough examination of your mouth, which may require us to take x-rays.
At the end of this appointment, we are usually able to give you a good idea of any treatment that you require and the likely costs involved.
We do our best to ensure your dental care meets your individual needs and will discuss the proposed treatment and treatment options with you, giving you time to ask questions and consider the alternatives.
We offer a full range of preventive and cosmetic dentistry. The surgery is equipped with technology to help us diagnose when treatment is required and explain the treatment options to you. We may suggest referral to a particular specialist if this is appropriate – for example, orthodontic treatment & complex root fillings.
